Troubleshoot

Write-Back when configured on basic mode retains and installs a self-signed certificate automatically so it can run on https.  You can identify that there is a certificate issue if you try to access Write-Back in Tableau Desktop for example and give a security error trying to access the url (see image below).Troubleshoot Self-signed Certificate on Basic ConfigImage Removed

However if you had a problem and could not install the certificate, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Open trex

Open the writeback.trex file, which available for download on Write-Back manager, and get the link you have in the url attribute.Open trexImage Removed

Step 2: Open Certificate on Browser

Open Open a browser and go to the link. It will give a warning that it is not safe to proceed. Click the "not secured" button on the left side of the url and then click on "Certificate".Open Certificate on BrowserImage Removed
