If you are not able to use Write-Back right away and are getting an error similar to the image below, you need to first allow your browser to connect to it.

Step 1: Open trex
Open the writeback.trex file, which available for download on Write-Back manager, and get the link you have in the url attribute.

Step 2: Open the URL in the Browser
You should see something like this:
To allow your browser to access Write-Back, click in "Advanced" and then "Proceed to..."
With this, you should now be able to see Write-Back with the "Looking for configuration message" and if you reload your Tableau Server page you should now be able to access Write-Back in your dashboard.
